A community is a community is a community!
We know you're busy with other things right now and maybe you're not thinking about the following, but we think it's time to do something. It's time for the #germanLEANcommunity to stand together and support each other!
In a long phone call Prof. Dr. Andreas Syska and Ralf Volkmer have worked out an idea, which we have now realized for you and would like to call on you to participate.
Many members of the #germanLEANcommunity are not only very smart people, but also - maybe just because of that - freelancers.
What these people will have to face in the course of Corona is clear: empty order books and constant fixed costs. In other words - for some people it will be pretty tight financially.
That's why we created the Lean Solidarity Fund to support the freelancers of the #germanLEANcommunity.
Everybody who would like to contribute donates an amount of money which we will manage for you. As soon as enough money is available, it can be paid out. Fast and without bureaucracy.
If each and every one of you donates even a small amount of money here, we will soon be able to start supporting the freelancers of the #germanLEANcommunity who have got into financial difficulties due to the crisis.
With the full confidence of the #germanLEANcommunity, the payment will be made with heart and mind and the absolute will not to leave anyone behind, to all who contact us. We are not waiting until the funding target of 30.000€ is reached - as soon as the first funds are available, they can be passed on.
To this purpose, we would like to call on everyone who is currently in a crisis situation to contact us at email@example.com with the subject "LeanSolidarityFund".
In the text, please simply enter your contact details and we will contact you by telephone as soon as possible. We do not need an explanation from you why you need the money - we trust you! However, in order to be able to support as many people as possible, we would like to cover the single amount we transfer with EUR 300,00. We know that this is not a lot, but maybe it is enough to buy a train ticket, or to help with the rent, electricity bill, etc. If one of you should not want to contact us for reasons of shame, we would like to say: "Don't worry about it, just contact us - better times will come again and then you can donate this amount to other community members in need.
Let us show that we are the #germanLEANcommunity, let us show what it really means to be a community. Let's use the chance that the current crisis brings out the good and solidarity in us.
